You know, ever since I started my <a href="http://naomi-sugarspice.blogspot.ca/">Sugar and Spice blog</a>, I've kind of decided to put this one away. Not really to try keeping it up anymore. Not because I don't want to, but because I just... Don't... Have time. Eh-he. But then sometimes, I write things down, thoughts about life... Which I wonder if might be a good thing to blog about, rather than just scribbling it all down on pieces of paper which eventually end up stuffed into one book or another, adding to the stacks and stacks of "Bookmarks" I make for myself.<br />
<br />
Perhaps this blog should be called, "Bookmarks." Or maybe I should start a 20th blog, and call it that. Nope. I don't think I have time.<br />
<br />
Oh well. Don't know if anyone reads this anymore, but I'll just send this out into the void anyway-- 'cause sometimes, you've just gotta send these kinds of rants out there like a paper boat on a mission. Sending it out has its own kind of satisfaction, regardless of where it ends up. <br />
<br />
Ta ta for now.<br />

P.S. You know how I always wanted to post pictures of MY OWN on this blog? Well, I finally have my dream camera, and I finally take all of my own pictures. But I no longer post on here, I just put the ones I like on Facebook. :-[ Oh, the irony. (I did take the one in this post, though. At least I have that satisfaction.)Naomihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15417259025956315369noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118173372472288398.post-23121888497725768492012-04-17T17:47:00.002-07:002012-04-17T18:15:00.408-07:00Lilacs<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOA8Qpv0CenT7kAR_ftepe7VO3XajSYXLf_HwjpOFiBjOw0qU3DykErWrh4nuGNwFi7P8S-AuwhqulezbFY5oVcS51_We7wJKdIojnYb2A5NCldRzvYm9flYOgc1XK7hb5R9BW90M1XMm9/s1600/DSC_0563ed.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOA8Qpv0CenT7kAR_ftepe7VO3XajSYXLf_HwjpOFiBjOw0qU3DykErWrh4nuGNwFi7P8S-AuwhqulezbFY5oVcS51_We7wJKdIojnYb2A5NCldRzvYm9flYOgc1XK7hb5R9BW90M1XMm9/s400/DSC_0563ed.jpg" width="400" /></a> </div><br />

But this year, for some reason... I dunno, perhaps I'm getting old, but yesterday I caught my mind wandering as I walked past the Valentines display in the grocery store. I saw a display of red roses, thought about how beautiful they were, and then considered how wonderful it would be to be a recipient of one of those flowers someday. I might have smiled and blushed at the thought... That, it seemed to me, would be pretty special.<br /><br />Still, I quickly dismissed these ponderings: I try to keep my head in the present as much as possible, and when one is on a mission to find chocolate syrup and pink napkins, one must not get distracted thinking about things that make you blush. ;) I found the things I needed, purchased them, and left the store.<br /><br />Later on that day, however, my mind wandered back to those roses. Only this time, when I caught myself thinking about a possible future admirer, I directed my thoughts toward the romance that I already have; my divine romance, my relationship with Jesus Christ. It is that relationship that matters most to me, and it is that relationship that I want to always take first priority in my life. I thought about that, and asked myself why I would wish for anything more? I suppose, I thought, having a someone who would buy me a rose would make me feel special... And I imagined to myself how grateful I would be to receive a gift like that from them.<br /><br />But then... I realized. There are so many things, all around me, every day, that God has given to me. Here I was wishing for an admirer to buy me a red rose on Valentine's Day... But I have a Creator who loves me, and every day shows it in so many ways! The beauty of nature, the joy of my family, the blessing of friends... I have red roses from my Lord every day, in these things. Every day He gives me more. Every day I have a fresh bouquet. Not just on Valentine's Day. Not just for special occasions. Every day I get a bouquet of fresh reminders that He loves me.<br /><br />(Wowie. Way to make me feel special!)<br /><br />So this Valentine's Day I've been thinking beyond chocolates and hearts and dress up. This year I've been thinking about red roses; and from now on, I hope and pray that I treat the ones from my Savior with the same attitude of thanks that I'd wish to show an admirer with a rose. Jesus loves me; and I have mountains of red roses all around me to prove it. :)Naomihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15417259025956315369noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118173372472288398.post-80619923369044104062012-01-18T15:52:00.000-08:002012-01-18T16:05:34.011-08:00Sitting in Starbucks. I actually made this tutorial for a friend who wasn't feeling well, and well, at the time I thought... "This is a happy thing. I will have to put this on my blog at some point."<br /><br />So here we go. :)<br /><br />This is something that my mom said she learned from her mother, and I honestly have no idea if it does anything medicinal... but to me, a little kid with a cold, it was an extra-special treat (we never got to drink tea as little kids, much less with raspberries in it). I can recall a couple of times as a sniffly young child being brought a cup of tea like this, to make me feel better. If we didn't have raspberries, in went the second best thing-- a little bit of raspberry jam.<br /><br />Perhaps it was just the magic of this out-of-the-ordinary treat that made me feel better... But feel better, I did. And to this day, when I'm feeling poorly, I think of this old remedy and wish I had some raspberries to go in my tea.<br /><br />Want to know how to make it? It's pretty simple. Here goes!<br /><br />[Note: I MUCH prefer to make the tea in a pot. That is the superior way to do it, but if you don't have a pot in which to make the tea, this will do the trick.]<br /><br />Step #1 - Get yourself a cup, a tea bag (whatever kind you want), and some raspberries. Wash the raspberries and put a few into your cup like this... If you want it to look pretty. Or you can make the tea and add the raspberries later... whatever you want. It's up to you.<br /><br />Step #2 - Boil some water, and pour it into the cup. (I like to put the tea bag into the cup after the water, when making an individual cup, because I like my tea on the weaker side. It is almost always gets too strong if you put the bag in first, I find... But again, this is just a matter of preference, so you do whatever you jolly-well want.)<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaXcNex8RX5ETPfcolCsCxM7UTQEJEuvSf-WuSTM4WDD4NGIFWcPcGX237MNFEFs1A47qMumZmd6ustwbK_t3rw0P-qO8JIVF1FNRfRpyCl2Hy1WXYBe-oQzCM7DjCGX2CkS23_gyoBhup/s1600/Sep20+035ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaXcNex8RX5ETPfcolCsCxM7UTQEJEuvSf-WuSTM4WDD4NGIFWcPcGX237MNFEFs1A47qMumZmd6ustwbK_t3rw0P-qO8JIVF1FNRfRpyCl2Hy1WXYBe-oQzCM7DjCGX2CkS23_gyoBhup/s400/Sep20+035ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667935814774277426" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiO8Ku5_dIa6yyEh5Y40vboyLLSDW8TjWcfqRWFJ9upFtQHmqk-U1maqZ995P4NOX6u9BmRK0tpAEXhOmmgi0TVb6J2zrymXRRumAl8rQdVA6AXpd6uTXN_6Z8f4oi4V3MXgUxDbIBHD9dk/s1600/Sep20+028ed.jpg"><br /></a>Step #3 - Swish the tea bag around a little bit, till the tea is the color you like it (I like mine honey-colored, or a little darker.)<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiubKIz8bXJsF3abvylRKabTb4qfMgcJ1F6md2a2jQ0Mj09ASoiM_3dOfCVVDormCTPWxXiMgKRWcu6l-HA6rWxx42zfffzZDZvtlqOVn1HYqtGE0_etnogRS51H2b8ePVnr2hTT5osr7Ry/s1600/Sep20+041ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiubKIz8bXJsF3abvylRKabTb4qfMgcJ1F6md2a2jQ0Mj09ASoiM_3dOfCVVDormCTPWxXiMgKRWcu6l-HA6rWxx42zfffzZDZvtlqOVn1HYqtGE0_etnogRS51H2b8ePVnr2hTT5osr7Ry/s400/Sep20+041ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667935824773867858" border="0" /></a><br />Step #4 - Add some honey. Now, easy here... You don't want to go all crazy on it. A little honey will do the trick. See the photo below to see how much honey I would recommend in a teaspoon for one cup of tea.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiABzMqoxK1-NIkn-szec-ZPl5HWnLRmJTstYXufX6kQkI7KQiAlT961Jm4ibB8IJrSlnyFnzKLIb1S4_U1gnTQG2haQ4Bi-oYEgwsbSaCrEYn_jq-wgKlTcJJUwwJXLOH96aFAK0gDKyJ-/s1600/Sep20+064ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiABzMqoxK1-NIkn-szec-ZPl5HWnLRmJTstYXufX6kQkI7KQiAlT961Jm4ibB8IJrSlnyFnzKLIb1S4_U1gnTQG2haQ4Bi-oYEgwsbSaCrEYn_jq-wgKlTcJJUwwJXLOH96aFAK0gDKyJ-/s400/Sep20+064ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667935838462037794" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho1-it0kLz9W7_eROOo7WkdHUros6tZ7aWYKPXdukArG0uW14YCfRxPZPCWtSxbYmh_XPXX3UeA9UflP_C0KzYClZauY7hC3CuwIAcuYdmTC0jESdwcL5EurbeShMaUFC3T2ho2WNM_g_U/s1600/Sep20+076ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho1-it0kLz9W7_eROOo7WkdHUros6tZ7aWYKPXdukArG0uW14YCfRxPZPCWtSxbYmh_XPXX3UeA9UflP_C0KzYClZauY7hC3CuwIAcuYdmTC0jESdwcL5EurbeShMaUFC3T2ho2WNM_g_U/s400/Sep20+076ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667936490379678818" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Step #5 - Enjoy! :D I recommend the use of pretty tea cups for little girls (or, if you have a group of little girls and boys, use them for the boys too-- they probably won't want to feel left out.) For everyone else, I would recommend a nice, chubby mug. Then get yourself a blanket, cuddle up with your cup, breathe in some of the steam, and then.... Smile. Mm. :) Smiling makes most everything better... (Including the common cold.)<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjchyqTJSh4WGLtpNJrvIGKfNdskoOhTvdACKnxAQj-r9kGGzPz1mCe8tnDF2PVLPvqRDs69fBXUyHApvTp-SNCc1Xx7H0Q_BIpfLnUypUxllkGcPcg4pAA84-6Hxd5eWYWoEMq9Q1YRt5I/s1600/Sep20+045ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjchyqTJSh4WGLtpNJrvIGKfNdskoOhTvdACKnxAQj-r9kGGzPz1mCe8tnDF2PVLPvqRDs69fBXUyHApvTp-SNCc1Xx7H0Q_BIpfLnUypUxllkGcPcg4pAA84-6Hxd5eWYWoEMq9Q1YRt5I/s400/Sep20+045ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5667935832488368546" border="0" /></a><br />Step #6 - Get better.<br /><br /><br />And there you have it. Gah!<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje_o1FVca-NOJ-mNAC-flvJLKE2eKvgixPM4qG_BQ45Yu6B_qxZGUjJOn55Y2a4wxO1uTpPxDSPMcuVvH1RpuY-9ucnaKNOtB6QJOkM_b4HCizozUEbthxyt0CeaKmVxrd5jmnzUT81R6k/s1600/Sep12+009ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje_o1FVca-NOJ-mNAC-flvJLKE2eKvgixPM4qG_BQ45Yu6B_qxZGUjJOn55Y2a4wxO1uTpPxDSPMcuVvH1RpuY-9ucnaKNOtB6QJOkM_b4HCizozUEbthxyt0CeaKmVxrd5jmnzUT81R6k/s400/Sep12+009ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656777780054754626" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAtv9x-8WE4ciaECULbdLnloUxABbRdTVyIOuvFCM8rajMpmpvxIQMxXFtP0aKPdP-zfiwb5hmzamHAdrlwJ18wTFrtyzyCjVve7bkdMSBZCknHqvwPbc6qIl3ZgnbHxPrVvFcoVAxQMCj/s1600/Sep1718+013ed.jpg"><br /></a>There I was, walking through the grocery store, and I spotted them... "Oh look, tiny little pumpkins! Buy." Haha... I'm not usually an impulse buyer, but sometimes... You've just gotta do what you've just gotta do. ;)<br /><br />I've baked this pumpkin, and shortly, I'm gonna make a pumpkin cake out of it. I haven't yet... Though, I almost feel like I have. I'm that excited about it. I love baked pumpkin-y things. It's going to be a good time.<br /><br />Now, here are the "Cakes" I spoke of. Since I make cakes (don't know if y'all knew that or not :-P), I've been... well, making cakes. Lots of cakes. So here are a few, for your perusal.<br /><br />Fall wedding cakes...<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA_62TjMu5HAkkhUW0JDVjmfg7ga6UNF8YRNVO2IhkcSJi_hSLdLqM4LprXLTz2V8o_hHDJZfgUklF5LT6jAvvnU-getj0nzPU54HM_Xm7HfDW9Wt5ukHGeugr9crDHiXgfnUley9VbWg0/s1600/Sep1718+117ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA_62TjMu5HAkkhUW0JDVjmfg7ga6UNF8YRNVO2IhkcSJi_hSLdLqM4LprXLTz2V8o_hHDJZfgUklF5LT6jAvvnU-getj0nzPU54HM_Xm7HfDW9Wt5ukHGeugr9crDHiXgfnUley9VbWg0/s400/Sep1718+117ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656781752894569922" border="0" /></a><br />Slab cake, to go with the fall wedding cakes...<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-4F16-pTvZrBMZ7-XmnlPgEuYqxtfHyAhG5LM8MBy6xQcrFXp6dVSulgTSVfGhu8Ho7s5gcHJsw2923z-uEm59pTvrTt6iijdLZGD4EGXeh5_NT4wJDDOzKGCFxGOkqzyQMGOIT6oGEMG/s1600/Sep1718+077ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-4F16-pTvZrBMZ7-XmnlPgEuYqxtfHyAhG5LM8MBy6xQcrFXp6dVSulgTSVfGhu8Ho7s5gcHJsw2923z-uEm59pTvrTt6iijdLZGD4EGXeh5_NT4wJDDOzKGCFxGOkqzyQMGOIT6oGEMG/s400/Sep1718+077ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656783552106648242" border="0" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMmd_cC4LGbDwL9K4xHuyYQHnydyumDYv82q8lcV60FoeV6OOogj7z1AYI6GTQQ9D6xb45myDkd-mNG2Q20NjatwQHH1kxkXgEXxtMt7WOq8FnC-b_YFUd0hwdY10p1bW5ww215x9P60UO/s1600/Sep1718+076ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMmd_cC4LGbDwL9K4xHuyYQHnydyumDYv82q8lcV60FoeV6OOogj7z1AYI6GTQQ9D6xb45myDkd-mNG2Q20NjatwQHH1kxkXgEXxtMt7WOq8FnC-b_YFUd0hwdY10p1bW5ww215x9P60UO/s400/Sep1718+076ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656783544938896418" border="0" /></a><br />Baby shower cakes...<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqsmQzwrAlg9l_CcI6E3NgF7VD6G-qMtb3fQ5FJ59pTXvak6h3r8fsc9uw4CTzaIeMSxHS0B3ZfRqM96XiqShw4OTS-Zz8Ow79was6nV-lgXZpp7Zef0r_8Bv_b9e5H3KwuSVo3yCsIWoS/s1600/Sep25+003ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqsmQzwrAlg9l_CcI6E3NgF7VD6G-qMtb3fQ5FJ59pTXvak6h3r8fsc9uw4CTzaIeMSxHS0B3ZfRqM96XiqShw4OTS-Zz8Ow79was6nV-lgXZpp7Zef0r_8Bv_b9e5H3KwuSVo3yCsIWoS/s400/Sep25+003ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656783567103517634" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbRXXjs2EBCSrXgrQsdkkjUl9y4txNvF4GRJrdmT0hH4HYXLM9ciKvT2aGItZ9m-ogKBsfyuepbCLwArPTGW9NnpelqiZvX57lS3ccyQtQfmgelXb0NLDitHxnaddPEPhRDOw6vgnGi7DY/s1600/Sep25+014ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbRXXjs2EBCSrXgrQsdkkjUl9y4txNvF4GRJrdmT0hH4HYXLM9ciKvT2aGItZ9m-ogKBsfyuepbCLwArPTGW9NnpelqiZvX57lS3ccyQtQfmgelXb0NLDitHxnaddPEPhRDOw6vgnGi7DY/s400/Sep25+014ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5656783573550922530" border="0" /></a><br />Fancy-shmancy cupcakes...<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJXpAqN4L6YWYkHsaskogBu6caMlkjFg-4-yyfb4DkMsoP5_LCmR7ICg4qt3W65g5_vaUvcveew4ZTDF_pbVuDxb1y1RrTtuL2o2dKTf8Wk83P-KdGcQ9fM1AHhlOR5CW4btNhVRaHajrX/s1600/Sep25+070ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJXpAqN4L6YWYkHsaskogBu6caMlkjFg-4-yyfb4DkMsoP5_LCmR7ICg4qt3W65g5_vaUvcveew4ZTDF_pbVuDxb1y1RrTtuL2o2dKTf8Wk83P-KdGcQ9fM1AHhlOR5CW4btNhVRaHajrX/s400/Sep25+070ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5657081185559039922" border="0" /></a><br />And more weddings cakes! I love them!<br /><br />They are called "Stroopwafles" or "Syrup Waffles," and wow. Was there ever anything more perfect to eat with a cup of tea?? I don't think so.<br /><br />I was introduced to these cookies last year by a good friend of mine, and then, on a short family trip that we took to Holland Michigan shortly afterwards, I was thrilled to find them for sale there. These cookies are traditionally Dutch, and as far as I've ever seen them, are imported from Holland.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2ho7a25jEFvozFA1S7vuVvhJcuDV23ZnmRP8prAxaLyDf4tQlaKAt5kwrkZLZVaDRDHesEHDitj3ZVL_u8TDy0ye1ogozgnkA9nE1i6_Zu9jTaCFKbgkA9Pu_0Cgs6nX11p53XYQumix-/s1600/Journals+063ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2ho7a25jEFvozFA1S7vuVvhJcuDV23ZnmRP8prAxaLyDf4tQlaKAt5kwrkZLZVaDRDHesEHDitj3ZVL_u8TDy0ye1ogozgnkA9nE1i6_Zu9jTaCFKbgkA9Pu_0Cgs6nX11p53XYQumix-/s400/Journals+063ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635899280856195426" border="0" /></a><br />The way you eat them, I understand, is to put the cookie on the mouth of your cup of hot beverage (my preferred choice is tea) and let it sit there for a minute... Then turn it over and let is sit for another minute (all the while building mountains of precious patience)... and THEN... You eat it. And the steam from your hot drink has made the cookie all warm and soft on the inside, where there is a delicious syrupy filling sandwiched between two baked wafer cookies.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY9Qxin5kGvs4DLt0Tk4IoyEY-_NvLmXLdRJzgr57t66cxtX97rFWMxwjXl84DQ6W96kgbvkEvmd-pH_vWfGXSUk6JBs3fTwFro8fSJr2iTW-E3mneGKBYFSOsPCI955PMXuxYqS0c8QAh/s1600/Journals+105ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY9Qxin5kGvs4DLt0Tk4IoyEY-_NvLmXLdRJzgr57t66cxtX97rFWMxwjXl84DQ6W96kgbvkEvmd-pH_vWfGXSUk6JBs3fTwFro8fSJr2iTW-E3mneGKBYFSOsPCI955PMXuxYqS0c8QAh/s400/Journals+105ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5635899270042676402" border="0" /></a><br />It's kind of like a miracle in your mouth.<br /><br />The story of my finding them went something like this:<br /><br />There I was, strolling through the grocery store, when suddenly... a beautiful sight met my eyes. 'Cause she kind of does look like him. In her own way.)<br /><p>Now, Naomi was an adventurous girl, and she loved to try making new things. She was always up for a challenge, and enjoyed the task of making desserts that were unusual, and sometimes, pretty tricky. Often, it was hard, and usually-- it made her nervous during the process. But, at the end of it all, the sound of her camera going "Click, click, click," and the photos of the finished project would make her smile, and thus provide the courage necessary to try something new the next time she had an opportunity.</p>One day, Naomi decided to make a beautiful little croquembouche, just big enough for a tea party with a few friends. She had made a few croquembouche towers before (big ones), but she particularly wanted to try making a new one this time, to give her the practice of working with spun sugar. Traditionally, Naomi knew, croquembouche towers are decorated with thin strands of spun sugar, and not having had too much practice with that in the past, she wanted to try it out again to see how it would turn out.<br /><br />Hours passed as Naomi mixed, baked, stirred, piped and spun... But finally, it was finished! It was beautiful; just as she had hoped it would be. Excitedly, she propped up her favorite wooden cutting board to make a nice wooden background for the photo, set her masterpiece down in front of it, and picked up her camera to take some pictures.<br /><br />Naomi lifted the camera with a smile, and prepared her ears to hear the usual "Click, click, click" of the camera.<br /><br />"Click, click, *plop*."<br /><br />What? Naomi looked up, confused. "Plop?"<br /><br />Yep. There it was... That lovely little croquembouche, crushed. The cutting board, apparently, had a mind of its own... And decided, just in time for the third click, to go "Plop" right on top of the croquembouche.<br /><br />It was crushed.<br /><br />"Oh," Naomi said. That... is... really... sad. :(<br /><br />The end.<br /><br />At least I got two pictures of it, even if they were really dark. :) I'm glad for that. And our tea party, though not as picturesque as I would have liked, will be delicious. That I know for sure.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOT8YY6-MiH_Y-U2qbyF4p7qhx0sf2-9EiQfe25pfBrJanXv9EiC_8RwL68l3cxpt1wYkquDOxqTJFG9Aj9hDHkr_6mg-7N1qR_ajKkxsyUC7yL7DL01rbrDVUf1bLUcdj2OEcZX8DQWE6/s1600/Croquembouche-Mini+002ed+copy.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOT8YY6-MiH_Y-U2qbyF4p7qhx0sf2-9EiQfe25pfBrJanXv9EiC_8RwL68l3cxpt1wYkquDOxqTJFG9Aj9hDHkr_6mg-7N1qR_ajKkxsyUC7yL7DL01rbrDVUf1bLUcdj2OEcZX8DQWE6/s400/Croquembouche-Mini+002ed+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625599081832837858" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVfGydwvWTG98lTw-kjUMc5bMlw9dwmKj2UJ6yIK0sFSSCkxm3kD6thz4PHgH5vM4PzSYCKv7Sa7JsR9hKsdTWbfOp0sbktpbP6fWSH1EWLzj7mWGRDioppXQMnpv2L1m8PdrFvSQ4YVlj/s1600/Croquembouche-Mini+028ed.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVfGydwvWTG98lTw-kjUMc5bMlw9dwmKj2UJ6yIK0sFSSCkxm3kD6thz4PHgH5vM4PzSYCKv7Sa7JsR9hKsdTWbfOp0sbktpbP6fWSH1EWLzj7mWGRDioppXQMnpv2L1m8PdrFvSQ4YVlj/s400/Croquembouche-Mini+028ed.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5625599108968418146" border="0" /></a><br />Note: This is a true story. I wish I could spread some joy all over this blog like butter on bread, but... What could I post?<br /><br />Well, to be honest, looking back on this past week... I didn't know. This week has been a very trying one for me. At first, my mind went "*sob* You have nothing. This has been a miserable week." But then I realized, no. It hasn't. It's had its rough times, yes. But I know that God is and has been in those times. And He is working in them.<br /><br />When I really look back on this week, I can see that it has been filled with loads upon loads of things to be grateful for. There have been sad things, yes. Many of them. But there have also been "Little bits of happiness" peppered throughout that I could take joy in. Little things that made me smile; little blessings for which I could praise, even when I was feeling down. Little ways that God said to me, "I love you, and I'm still here" every single day.<br /><br />I guess, this week has been one to remind me of something. Even in the hardest of times, God is there. And even when I can't see it, He still shows me that He loves me.<br /><br />How can I remember this?<br /><br />...There are little bits of happiness all around me.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYXdnlIohO1eVnNDOCPNphsxElggd1TbD2DV2o3P0PDffzyfaGuMDngur2mMvjhVRqgyPfdBaZv1OrHPza4hyphenhyphenUWiOIsbkD05Bu1jhzv3y-89cDnpNJuXXqMnwIL-oNDhzLUem2dDSIInqQ/s1600/PurpleFlowers+%252850%2529+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYXdnlIohO1eVnNDOCPNphsxElggd1TbD2DV2o3P0PDffzyfaGuMDngur2mMvjhVRqgyPfdBaZv1OrHPza4hyphenhyphenUWiOIsbkD05Bu1jhzv3y-89cDnpNJuXXqMnwIL-oNDhzLUem2dDSIInqQ/s400/PurpleFlowers+%252850%2529+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5584132354953373682" border="0" /></a>:)Naomihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15417259025956315369noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118173372472288398.post-12078652147426169602011-03-05T19:44:00.000-08:002011-04-04T12:50:12.639-07:00Rainy Days and Red Rubber Boots<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDXVS7uxQgkWaFctk-ZUds-Swr4dqMYzEbhNqVy2RlNPkoyDMDlsk64_QdyUl1pqKHi0UeT3Iy30sYqiqjJrKt1i9jpuFSDJJAeXu68WaNmBi0x6MY5Y1ZA5739dqjyEL0U33y6ggY4ixx/s1600/CakesMisc+151.JPG"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDXVS7uxQgkWaFctk-ZUds-Swr4dqMYzEbhNqVy2RlNPkoyDMDlsk64_QdyUl1pqKHi0UeT3Iy30sYqiqjJrKt1i9jpuFSDJJAeXu68WaNmBi0x6MY5Y1ZA5739dqjyEL0U33y6ggY4ixx/s400/CakesMisc+151.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5580815551000181874" border="0" /></a><br />I love rainy days. I also love red rubber boots.<br /><br />I think I've mentioned my desire to own a pair of shiny red boots before on this blog. At the time, I don't think I had any immediate plans to attain any, but... !! Guess what??<br /><br />I have some. And they. Are. The bomb. B-)<br /><br />Today was a rainy day (before it started snowing), and it was actually quite warm as well (before it got all cold).<br /><br />And... really, writing all of that was not the main purpose of the story for today at all. In fact, I was just going to get onto my blog to post a lovely little poem that I read at my Oma's house the other day. But then I started to think about rain, and red boots and pictures... and out came the lovely little title for this post (which I am leaving there because I like it).<br /><br />...In typical fashion, the tired Naomi is good at getting distracted and coming out with random things like that. So, before it gets any worse, I'll just post the pictures that I took while we were in Leamington today (while I sat in the van with Keturah waiting for people) when it was raining outside. I don't have pictures of the boots; they are too awesome.<br /><br />(Actually, that's not the reason for the lack of red footwear being pictured on this blog. I just didn't take any. Weird, I know.)<br /><br />Aaaaannnd... this is what happens when you give Naomi a hood for her jacket and nothing to do except take pictures and sit down. The book is so very sweet... I think I would like to own a copy of it one day. I copied the poem out to write on here for y'all to enjoy, but I hope you don't take that as a reason to not look through that book if you ever have the opportunity. I would highly recommend a good look through that book; the pictures are beautiful and the things spoken worthy of a great many smiles.<br /><br />Here's the poem:<br /><br /><br />A Math Worksheet<br /><br />This school year is like a math sheet<br />The Master has handed to you<br />The four basic functions are needed<br />In the work you are given to do.<br /><br />Some problems require addition<br />Of diligence, virtue and faith<br />And some of them call for subtraction<br />Of laziness, carelessness, hate.<br /><br />For choosing the right in decisions,<br />Division you'll need to employ.<br />Make good use of multiplication<br />With cheerfulness, kindness, and joy.<br /><br />Check over your work and be accurate:<br />Small errors affect the whole sheet.<br />And guard against streaks of indifference<br />Or blotches of ugly conceit.<br /><br />What note do you think will the Master<br />Inscribe when the school year is done?<br />On your sheet mark "Unsatisfactory"<br />Or will he write, "Very well done?"<br /><br /><br />And now to pretend this is Facebook and say,<br /><br />Naomi Thomson likes this. :)Naomihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15417259025956315369noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118173372472288398.post-64152711885723756632011-02-24T07:07:00.000-08:002011-02-24T07:08:46.309-08:00Savior, Please - Josh WilsonNo pictures today, just a video. :) Enjoy!<br /><br /><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/z9EvlgG-YBM?fs=1" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="295" width="480"></iframe><br /><br /><br />(By the way... Simple. If I'm sitting on my bed, it makes me go "Boing, boing, boing." If I'm sitting on the couch, it makes me go, "Thwump, thwump, thwump." If I'm standing in the livingroom, it makes me go "Dance, dance, jump"-- and if I'm cooking it makes me go "Cook, cook, JOY!" And joy makes most everything better. The yearly reminder to keep loving our loved ones in ways that make them know it. :)<br /><br />You know, way back in the day, I can't particularly remember doing anything on Valentine's Day. We used to get little Valentine cards in the mail from my grandparents, and we always loved that... that was always something to look forward to. But other than that, there just seemed to be a lot of random red, pink and white candies that made their way into our lives... And also, of course, we used to make gazillions of Valentine cards for our parents and siblings. Tons and tons.<br /><br />But, other than that, it was just a regular day.<br /><br />This Valentine's Day, somehow, while all of these old traditions have carried on into the younger set of children (more or less), we somehow ended up celebrating with a little more "Umph." Baking, dressing up, wearing pink, taking pictures, drinking hot beverages out of red cups with hearts on them, and having tea parties were all included amongst the festivities.<br /><br />It all began with a morning outburst of "Happy Valentine's Day!" from all of the little kids and a shower of cards that they had made flying in all directions, each one making its way to the person whose name was written in red on the inside.<br /><br />Now, I would give this story a middle and an end to make that beginning more... um, beginningy, but I just don't have the time for that right now. So, instead, I'll just caption the pictures below and you can just imagine (by those captions and pictures) how wonderful the day must have been for yourself. Also, if you check out <a href="http://www.silverspooncakes.com/blog/2011/02/268/">My Other Blog</a> you can see some of the other things I did during that day.<br /><br />Mom and I decided to try on some Valentine-esq. shoes for the day. So here are our feet. I didn't bother to take of my socks, 'cause that would have been cold.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqVOasSUgVsuJEqWbIf4qEsEhLFDGW5ht2if2RjvbatNLAUdw2s8hGAN7iXrVHDu3IafNVPTCVT6mYyVaUX6RsXZE7eJmv0eG0w-ncVlLZDYQrPh9OnzG73eSx8z_xPfd30hwoOGKmfADI/s1600/ValentinesDay+001+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqVOasSUgVsuJEqWbIf4qEsEhLFDGW5ht2if2RjvbatNLAUdw2s8hGAN7iXrVHDu3IafNVPTCVT6mYyVaUX6RsXZE7eJmv0eG0w-ncVlLZDYQrPh9OnzG73eSx8z_xPfd30hwoOGKmfADI/s400/ValentinesDay+001+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5574129534557418290" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I then added to the shoes a few more garments which were suited to the occasion.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvXRwlTmef1vPneQavHibWBeQ9BY6JQQGu-aE7GOOMCxB5hKvxLq34LwbUX_12hmKfac4lDAY9xsulSwm6qDygWVC53LwuiAfplbeG4USwosjMRvsNdYClYDavXYkhY-uzLBwN92qaVaEX/s1600/ValentinesDay+051+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvXRwlTmef1vPneQavHibWBeQ9BY6JQQGu-aE7GOOMCxB5hKvxLq34LwbUX_12hmKfac4lDAY9xsulSwm6qDygWVC53LwuiAfplbeG4USwosjMRvsNdYClYDavXYkhY-uzLBwN92qaVaEX/s400/ValentinesDay+051+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5574129525741259154" border="0" /></a><br />And a flower to my head. :)<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7SxpegzG2haxFcDMylV5WBdh7UWycE4SGFiYpMU6eepx4-tUMz5dFU_SxP64XlbRxN3TKBPgyStazTGCWHnceQ97XPb4AhdlDORneLOGiqzL0r1KykrAwdrEWBphdeOv3_ibbmY57MJtx/s1600/ValentinesDay+066+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7SxpegzG2haxFcDMylV5WBdh7UWycE4SGFiYpMU6eepx4-tUMz5dFU_SxP64XlbRxN3TKBPgyStazTGCWHnceQ97XPb4AhdlDORneLOGiqzL0r1KykrAwdrEWBphdeOv3_ibbmY57MJtx/s400/ValentinesDay+066+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5574129196733380498" border="0" /></a><br />Anna wore pink. Our family continues on our day by day early rising schedule, and we're doing quite well with it. I'm pleased to find that I am having an easier time with it than I would have expected, actually-- I think it must be because of my 21 day challenge just before this.<br /><br />This week's activities... well, the ones I am going to elaborate on, would be-- Chocolate! Surprise, surprise. Valentine's chocolates, St. Patrick's Day chocolates, and just... other chocolates. :) We're getting ready for the upcoming holidays by getting <a href="http://sweetsomethingschocolate.com/">The Website</a> updated. Here are some of the things we've been working on.<br /><br />St. Patrick's Day - Irish Cream fudge, coated in dark chocolate.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVyTGimHjLc-7blWppHzKK3OT5ol2CA60iCOoxvWgYaA70qAXSbkohb4ZNwYloaUyraqWqVaSKgFhjrub89ugsjuGIq5V8_-WNmr6W_PCgLi1QquuaEoqMxYYzcMcD0M7RrUR1WMeLGMCl/s1600/HolidayChocolates+072+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVyTGimHjLc-7blWppHzKK3OT5ol2CA60iCOoxvWgYaA70qAXSbkohb4ZNwYloaUyraqWqVaSKgFhjrub89ugsjuGIq5V8_-WNmr6W_PCgLi1QquuaEoqMxYYzcMcD0M7RrUR1WMeLGMCl/s400/HolidayChocolates+072+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570427541161405458" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3l_HSsOFuhqTn5LMBhKz0QbGKOGodN4Pof7T5-tYgyWBVAUugolcFvTRX3A5vnbGY41mlF8b6HI2M7LADLuZhP5_RLinoK5amsr_RrwaR8rde6TlrTZ6sD7mm1cJ6bq_9fWCRnU6z-SDQ/s1600/HolidayChocolates+035c+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3l_HSsOFuhqTn5LMBhKz0QbGKOGodN4Pof7T5-tYgyWBVAUugolcFvTRX3A5vnbGY41mlF8b6HI2M7LADLuZhP5_RLinoK5amsr_RrwaR8rde6TlrTZ6sD7mm1cJ6bq_9fWCRnU6z-SDQ/s400/HolidayChocolates+035c+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570426937929588322" border="0" /></a><br />Cinnamon Heart Fudge - Valentine's Day special. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Dad thought that since our Chocolate Crunchies (a mixture of Captain Crunch, pretzels, marhsmallows, rice crispies, chocolate chips, etc.) are so popular, making a heart out of it might be a cute thing for Valentine's Day. The heart stands up in a ring of the same mixture.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEpQ1YbcLIw0k0epojp0ccxcA1Ol4mTsOylchaNhX6gRLdjKx71LBZbgVkzzKB4QHPXAUDvn706PodShpauynHN09x7mD_HJNkiLT0f6q3bRN6A6A5MvuZDLzBxjZP-SgRxFWq6PrXmWHt/s1600/ValentinesHeart+012c+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 267px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEpQ1YbcLIw0k0epojp0ccxcA1Ol4mTsOylchaNhX6gRLdjKx71LBZbgVkzzKB4QHPXAUDvn706PodShpauynHN09x7mD_HJNkiLT0f6q3bRN6A6A5MvuZDLzBxjZP-SgRxFWq6PrXmWHt/s400/ValentinesHeart+012c+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570426447006756946" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEeAKMglGtHqjZUDkk2nKj8SrMTaGp3rceyVBTRRNbpYsr0ecMuFwVaX_gFEVAwanefIqRkQdqwK4lxcTB_7xGzAaiMBGKGDkJD6W1XMbobXElG-QI-1rfk3LjKyfi7Rfv_Rg7aIe__BX8/s1600/ValentinesHeart+045c+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEeAKMglGtHqjZUDkk2nKj8SrMTaGp3rceyVBTRRNbpYsr0ecMuFwVaX_gFEVAwanefIqRkQdqwK4lxcTB_7xGzAaiMBGKGDkJD6W1XMbobXElG-QI-1rfk3LjKyfi7Rfv_Rg7aIe__BX8/s400/ValentinesHeart+045c+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570426446409209874" border="0" /></a><br />And of course, little heart sprinkles to finish it. :)<br /><br />Overall, this week has been good. I'm FREEE to do whatever I want!! Ah hahahahahaha!!<br /><br />...Just kidding. ;)<br /><br />Today I got up at 6:30 because Mom and I were going to make coffee, tea, and breakfast together before everyone else in the house got up at 7. Yes, 7. Mom decided yesterday that we ALL need to be up by 7 every day, so now we're all on a habit changing schedule! And we're keeping ourselves accountable to a large chart in our dining room (made by moi). Every morning, we all get up and come put a sticker on the chart if we got up by 7. At the end of the month, whichever people have a sticker on every day will get "A treat." Ooh hoo hoo. Treats. Love 'em. And... :D They were able to get a plaque for every kid in our family, including the ones with more unusual names (Micaiah, Tirzah, Keturah, etc.) They were really excited about this especially, since it's difficult to find the meanings of their names just anywhere.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDwjzd_q_iQDp1EGPLNKHQ_cnIeUx3_1qelcGJVXbPZeNW_tC2lbjmFPfAdEzbg8fuZPgZl9fP_2mxTcKk_Tyttzxr0p3xdsU8dqFjDKL2GI2v1C0dAE4_M1CcZWjF3zn3trex065Qdm5f/s1600/Day%252321+023+copy.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDwjzd_q_iQDp1EGPLNKHQ_cnIeUx3_1qelcGJVXbPZeNW_tC2lbjmFPfAdEzbg8fuZPgZl9fP_2mxTcKk_Tyttzxr0p3xdsU8dqFjDKL2GI2v1C0dAE4_M1CcZWjF3zn3trex065Qdm5f/s400/Day%252321+023+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568743227939157362" border="0" /></a><br />I love them. :) The thing is, we realized pretty quickly that some of the Bible verses have the wrong references.
